Amanda & Gage: A Love Reconnected at Knotted Roots on the Lake

Love stories come in many forms, and for Amanda and Gage, theirs is a tale of reconnection. They met and briefly dated in high school, only to go their separate ways. But fate had other plans, and they reconnected in the last few years, building a beautiful life together, complete with six wonderful children. Their wedding at Knotted Roots on the Lake was a celebration of a love rediscovered.

The wedding venue was Boho chic, beautifully located outdoors on a serene lake, providing a breathtaking backdrop for the couple's vows. Preparations were uniquely divided; the bride got ready in the elegant bridal suite, while the groom prepared in a renovated airstream trailer. Their attire was coordinated, with the entire family donned in elegant black.

The reception, held on the property in an open-air pole barn, was a lively affair. Spunky Spirits tended the bar, while Darby Place, the DJ, spun tracks that kept the dance floor packed. Coastal Catering served up delicious fare, Miriam's Cakes crafted a black cake adorned with a bloom of flowers, and a skeleton bride and groom graced the top. Cookies at the tables added a sweet touch, embracing the venue's chic vibe.

Their first dance, "The Adventure" by Angels & Airwaves, filled the room with emotion, encapsulating their incredible journey. The night ended with laughter, tears, and an abundance of love.
